2.5.1
Firefox sidebar toggle, Discord connection after startup and live preview setting.
Fixes
- Fixed the Firefox sidebar toolbar button so it continues to toggle the sidebar reliably (previously released as 2.5.0.1).
- When "Live preview" is turned off, the "Now on Discord" section is now hidden entirely instead of showing "Nothing shared right now". Discord connection alerts still appear when needed.
- Fixed Rich Presence staying stuck after a reboot until Discord was restarted: the desktop app no longer waits forever for a Discord that has not finished starting, and gives up after 5 seconds to retry.
- On Windows, the desktop app now looks for Discord on all ten IPC pipes (
discord-ipc-0todiscord-ipc-9) instead of only the first one. - The desktop app now checks every 6 hours whether a newer version is available and reports it to the extension. Development builds never report an update.
